One of those is Airmail, and the task contains a link back to the mail message.

I can use any iOS or Mac app that supports Reminders to get tasks into TaskPaper. Suddenly, TaskPaper is WAY more functional for me. Of course, for this to work, you’ll need to make sure you have Reminders syncing between your Mac and your iOS device. That script slurps anything that appears in a designated list in Reminders into TaskPaper. I set the JavaScript in that thread up on my Mac, and have Keyboard Maestro run the script every 10 minutes.

Update 2: Airmail also says it is not using.

Instead, I stumbled upon a thread with instructions on how to get items from the Reminders app into TaskPaper (scroll down in the thread for the script). Bloop also recently raised the price of Airmail for Mac from 9.99 to 26.99. There is a thread in the TaskPaper forums that points to a workflow, using the iOS Workflow app, to get Airmail email links into TaskPaper. On iOS, for example, native TaskPaper integration isn’t built into any email apps. TaskPaper has many strengths (again, more on that in the future), but one weakness is its lack of integration with third party apps when it comes to capturing tasks. More on that in the future, but for now don’t read too much into this – OmniFocus is a great app, and if it works for you, I don’t recommend switching. I also tried the connection doctor (Mail>Window>Connection Doctor) and it said everything is connecting just fine.I’m currently trying out TaskPaper as my task manager of choice, after almost five years with OmniFocus. I have a feeling that it might not be those connection settings that are wrong because I didn't change anything before the problem presented itself. Right now, SSL is checked and the port reads 995.

I tried to uncheck the SSL box and made sure the port was 110 but that just made things worse and took my exchange account offline so I undid that.

I've looked in other forums but nothing seems to be working. On iOS, for example, native TaskPaper integration isn’t built into any email apps. Also, there are no little red numbers indicated the number of unread messages on my Mail icon. So I assume it's getting all my new mail but it's now showing me in my inbox or anywhere else I can find that I have new unread messages. It showed me ALL of my new messages that it wasn't showing in my inbox but I couldn't open them and if I clicked on them, it only gave me the option to Remove From Server. I control clicked each mail account on the left side panel and clicked Get Info. There is no alert ( ! ) symbol next to any account.Įvery time I try to check for new mail the Mail Activity in the bottom left corner shows 57 of 57 incoming emails (and keeps rising every day) but nothing is showing up in my inbox. I have 3 mail accounts (mobilme, exchange, and gmail) and none are syncing but all say that they are online. I have a mobileme account, which pushed and showed me new emails on my iphone but they're not showing up in my mail application. One day, I noticed that my mail.app wasn't retrieving or showing me my new messages.
